CORIANDER
Coriander prices fell by 0.33 per cent to Rs 10,600 per quintal in futures trade today as speculators reduced positions amidst subdued demand in the spot markets.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, coriander for delivery in July eased by Rs 35, or 0.33 per cent, to Rs 10,600 per quintal with an open interest of 27,560 lots.
The price for August declined by Rs 34, or 0.31 per cent, to Rs 10,908 per quintal with an open interest of 29,470 lots.
CARDAMOM
Continuing its winning streak for the fourth day in a row, cardamom prices moved up further by Rs 6.40 to Rs 944.50 per kg in futures trade today, taking positive cues from the spot markets.
Besides, tight stocks position in the physical market due to decline in arrivals from producing regions influenced cardamom prices.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in July added Rs 6.40, or 0.68 per cent, to Rs 944.50 per kg in business turnover of 279 lots. In a similar manner, the spice for delivery in August gained Rs 4.60, or 0.50 per cent, to Rs 920 per kg in 61 lots.

  1. Jeera prices closed lower by 0.75 per cent on Tuesday at the National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) on account of a surge in the supply from the producing regions in the midst of a decline in the export demand.
